Working with cars ads

You can search and filter the already downloaded car offers.

To search all cars offers, follow these steps:

Step 1. In the accordion menu, click the item "Car search".

Step 2. In the list of sites, select "All vehicles":

Step 3. In the top menu, click the "Search" button:

Step 4. In the panel below the search bar enter the text and click "Search" button.
To filter found car offers, follow these steps:

Step 1. In the accordion menu, click the item "Car search".

Step 2. In the list of sites, select "All vehicles".

Step 3. In the top menu, click on the "Filter" button:
Step 4. In the panel below the search bar you can filter the previously found car offers for the following criteria:

• "Status" - read or unread car offers.
• "Time" - car offers downloading time.
• "Seller" - car sellers.

Specify the necessary criteria to filter car offers and click "Apply" button.

If you are interested in a car ad, you can save it as a favorite one. After that the car ad will be displayed under "Favorites". To that effect, follow these steps:

Step 1. Click the "Car search" item in the accordion menu.

Step 2. In the list of found car ads, find the car ad needed and click on the "Add to Favorites".

Step 3. In the new window, select the "All" folder in which you want to save car ad:

Step 4. Click "OK" button if you want to save the car offer in the selected or "Cancel" for cancellation.

Step 5. In the accordion menu, open the item "Favorites". Your car offers will appear in the folder where you added them:

Car ads found can be removed from the Program. Deleting car ads is divided into two stages: (1) removing found ads to the Recycle Bin (the ads are yet not deleted from the Program irrevocably, and still can be restored), and then (2) deleting ads permanently from the Recycle Bin (ads are completely erased and cannot be restored any more).

To remove chosen car ads to the Recycle Bin, perform these steps:

Step 1. Select the Car search item in the accordion menu.

Step 2. In the list of found ads, select the needed ones and then click the Delete button in the Programs top toolbar:


To move all car ads to the "Recycle Bin", follow these steps:

Step 1. From the list of sites, open (right-click) the context menu for the All vehicles tab.

Step 2. Select Delete car offers:


Step 3. In the new form that appears, set parameters needed for deleting car ads. The following options are available to you:

• deleting all car offers;
• deleting car offers for defined sites;
• deleting car offers for a defined period;
• deleting car offers marked as Favorite.

Step 4. Click ОK to move the car ads into the Recycle Bin, or click Cancel to undo your actions.


If you now have a need to restore some ads from the "Recycle Bin" where they have been moved to, do the following:

Step 1. ВFrom the accordion menu, select the Recycle Bin item.

Step 2. In the list of removed ads, select the needed ones and then click the Restore button in the Programs top toolbar:



To remove all ads from the Recycle Bin irrevocably, do the following:

Step 1. In the accordion menu, open the Recycle Bin item.

Step 2. Open (right-click) the context menu for the All vehicles tab, and then select Delete all:


Step 3. Confirm your choice.

To send chosen car ads to the smartphone, do the following:

Step 1. Select all the needed ads from the list.

Step 2. Click the Send button in the Programs top toolbar/menu:


Step 3. If you have more than one mobile agent, you will be prompted to indicate that one to which car ads are to be forwarded. Select that mobile agent by clicking its named button:

Step 4. The selected ads being forwarded to the mobile agent, you will get a confirmation message:

The export of car ads allows you to store found ads in an external file in .csv format. To export ads into an external file, perform the following:

Step 1. In the list, choose the ads you want to export, and click the Export button in the program top toolbar. Note also that you can click the Export button in the program top toolbar immediately, if you wish to export ads relating to a particular site or a search request.

Step 2. In the window opened, you get access to options and settings for exporting car ads:


Step 3. If you need to store all car ads from the list or ads relating to a particular site/search request, take advantage of the option for storing ads from indicated sites, having chosen objects to export from the tree of sites und search requests:


Step 4. To define the format of the file to be exported, click the Configure button:


Step 5. In the appeared window, some parameters of the exported file are to be set, namely data delimiter and vehicle specifications:


Step 6. Specify the storage path for the exported file by clicking the corresponding button, and set the encoding format:


Step 7. Click Save to start exporting, or click Cancel to cancel your foregoing actions.

Found car ads can be printed out. To do this, follow these steps:

Step 1. In the accordion menu, click the item "Car search".

Step 2. In the list of found car ads, select the ones you want to print out. For that, hold down the key of your keyboard and click on the car ads you wish to print:

Step 3. Click the "Print" button in the top menu bar:

Step 4. In the print form you can view printed data and print settings:
Step 5. To make print settings, click the "Settings" icon in the print form:

The parameters are as follows:

• "Seller’s address" - enables you to show, hide or display your address instead of the seller’s address.
• "Price" - enables you to show, hide or display your car price instead of the seller’s price.
• "View car additional pictures" - enables you to print additional pictures besides the main car picture.

Step 6. Click on "Print" if you want to print car ads or "Close" to close the printing form.

Cars HotSurf supports automatic translation of the content of downloaded car ads into English. Automatic translation works "on the fly" for all car technical features and parameters except for the detailed seller’s description.

To translate seller’s detailed description, follow these steps:

Step 1. In the accordion menu, click the item "Car search".

Step 2. In the list of car offers find the right for you.

Step 3. In the car offer full description in section "Information from seller" click "Translate":
